well it was a cany day out, not the best game in the world but good to see some of the new lads get a run out big won looks a good signing beef him up and i think he will be class got a cany touch and good in the air!!

o'shea looked a bit dodgy caught out of possition a few times but put a couple of good passes together with larsson. went off with what looked like his hamstring injury (hope its nowt too serious)

wickham was cany, big strong lad.. had a few shots at goal but nowt special looks a handfull.

vaughan was tidy kept the ball well and nice easy passes..

larsson had a good freekick well saved and his corners were quality turner was on the end of most of them, can see him (turner) scoring a few this season!!

looking forward too saturday at Borussia Mönchengladbach happy days

 

forgot to say lee catermole was ****ing ****e!!! and i think he is a good player but he had a mare...

 

Nice little summary mate, agree on Catts the only good games he had last season were Chelsea away & West Ham at home. Only thing is he has been injured a lot so he could come good for the start of the season. I'd bite Liverpool's hand off for £10 million if that was true but sadly not.

I lived in Paderborn for a while many years ago while in the army - went to Bielefeld quite a bit but can't recall their ground ! Any good ?

Catt's normally takes 4 games to get going but once he finds his form he is quality, he needs an injury free season IMO to prove value for money. Then again how many could you say that about. Having seen the highlights of the friendlies we are looking a bit suspect at the back - lack of pace.

 

yeah its a great stadium mate, even more so considering there in the third division.

yeah i really like catts but honest mate he was shocking, late tackles all over the place and his passing was ****e too he really stood out,
ferdinand was solid when he came on, won everything.

 

forgot to say gyan was awsome i thought he wasn't there but as soon as the final whistle went he was straight over to us and jumped in the crowed signing shirts and posing for photos the bloke is ****ing class he was the only player that did it like.

Yep, saw the clanger. It was mentioned in the match thread on safc.com, too. That's why I asked, mate, to see if there was anything else. I'm afraid that I'm one of those who are not 100% convinced that he's the answer. Cheers for the info.

no bother at all, was a little shocked by the crowd like! 6221 and i think the 221 were us and not much singing or banter going on but maybe that was due to the fact they only sold alcoholfree beer

Totally agree with this mate i think he punches far too often like a lot of foreign keepers tend to do .
