    Odd question but does anyone remember a charity do involving a jacuzzi in the Biddick Inn car park possibly in the 80's

    Back then there was an annual event which included rafts and other such things on the river and the pubs used to do lots of other things around theevent.

    It was organised by the Washington Round Table. It could be linked to that, but only a guess?

    But why do you want to know?

    I was stuck in the pubs car park because the jacuzzi was stuff right in the middle, honest, missed Sunday lunch with the in laws and visiting relations and the wife has never believed me
