It appears we are back in the running for Stekelenburg, our
Jan failed signing, i think this would be a good move by MJ.
Lets hope we are more successful this time.

If that's true, I agree it's good news. Where did you hear that, rosc?

"Roma are the latest club to show interest in Newcastle goalkeeper Tim Krul but would have to sell Fulham target Maarten Stekelenburg first.

AC Milan, as revealed by Sportsmail in January, remain keen on Krul, 25 who is valued around £15m."

That a heck of lot for a keeper but I don't doubt Ashley would jump at it. Not sure Roma could afford that though or that they could hold off counter bids from AC Milan.

Running beside it was a story about our other favoured goalie signing, Sinan Bolat

"Standard Liege goalkeeper Sinan Bolat remains undecided on his future despite interest from a number of clubs according to the players agent Kısmet Eriş.

Eriş speaking to Turkish news agency DHA said, "Sinan's contract with Standard Liege runs out at the end of the season. Sinan hasn't decided on his future yet, recently there have been rumours that he's going to Beşiktaş however, no deal has been agreed. We have been in contact with Beşiktaş and a number of other clubs."

Bolat has attracted interest from Beşiktaş and Fulham, the 24-year-old keeper missed the season with a cruciate ligament injury but is now back in training having made a full recovery."

If you remember we paid for his treatment and he trained with us as part of his rehab on the understanding that we had an option to sign him. Then he walked out.

To be honest, I'd be surprised if anything comes of either of them.
