Leicester have rejected a bid from Brentford for defender Liam Moore. #lcfc #bees

More surprising they bid for him rather then it was rejected. He has a big future here and I think this year he might be able to nail down a starting shirt alongside Wes

Maybe it was a loan bid? Either way, I'd like to see more of him here this season.

Well he spent a bit of time there on loan last season but got recalled after we loaned St. Ledger out and Wes got sent off.

I think teams are getting the wrong end of the stick with us. They keeping hearing we need to cut costs and they think that means were open to bids for anyone. Only players that will leave are the one Nigel doesnt see as key players here.

For a key player to leave it will take a very decent bid

Liam Moore was being linked with clubs contending for Champion's league places in the first couple of months of last season ... so for Brentford to bid for an outright transfer seems incredibly ambitious, if that's the case... on balance of probability suspect they might have wanted a season long loan ... either way I'd prefer to keep him here because he certainly has potential ... would also like to see him given a run in the team.

He's got massive potential. I'd play him next to Wes every game next season. Let SSL and Whitbread fight for the 3rd spot.

Could also play RWB as cover for De Laet, in our new formation?

Or is he a better CB?

Ultimately I think he is a central defender - but he's also very quick ... which is great for optins and cover - I really didn't understand how he came to be marginalised last season ... didn't do much wrng for me and it was somehat bizarre to see him ousted in favour of an equally young and inexepereinced prospect in Michael Keane

Well if it was a loan bid then that shows that he is in the first team plans. Hopefully he and Schlupp will get a lot of games this season, exactly what young players need.

if no one is coming in then i cant see many going out!!

Im also warming to the thought of Gallagher upfront next to wood, would have liked to have seen it pre-season

Moore looked relatively assured against Monaco, despite being shifted around, and I'm pleased he's in our plans, still young and only going to get better. I think we'll see a lot of him this season.

Before we start Gally up front I would rather Wood, Nugent, Waghorn, Vardy, Futacs, Knockaert, Blyth and Dodoo

I have nothing against Gally like some of the fans. I think how he is treated is unfair and wrong. He has played a key role in important wins over the years and gave us some great memories but I think his time in a Leicester shirt is over.

Gally can still do a job for someone in this league but the longer he remains here rotting away the harder it will be for him to get his career back on track.

Frankly, Vardy looked more dangerous than Wood against Monaco (which is quite worrying) ... for me we have to give Schlupp a prolonged run up front, he's done his 'apprenticeship' now and it's time to make his mark

Vardy worked hard and got in some very good positions. His movement is very good

But his first touch is about as good as mine. The ball just bounces off him and goes about a yard away from him making the defenders like easy against him.

My worry about Vardy last season was after a promising start he declined and never even looked like recovering. Against Monaco was the best I have seen him in a long time. If he gets some confidence going he is more then good enough to have a role here.

Id take Vardy over Waghorn. If it is assumed that Nugent and Wood will start against Mboro, i would have Schlupp and Vardy on the bench.
