@SportsPeteO: Wigan forward Shaun Maloney set for talks with Leicester after two clubs agree fee of £750,000. #lcfc #wafc

Great bit of business. Get Kramaric, Maloney, Naughton and a centre half over the line and were fine and dandy

I'd say that a left back is more needed than a centre back.

Upson won't be far off. Would love for us to look at Tyrone Mings.

Mings is rumoured to be off to Arsenal

Everytime I have watched him he has impressed me but I just get the impression he looks like a centre half playing left back

Thought he (Mings) was poor in the televised game last weekend - couldnt understand what all the fuss was about. Made Konch look like a superhero. Just my opinion.

    as a signing 'fine'.

Just desperately needed a LM. Though worries me that we are mainly a 4-4-2 team and he is more of a 4-3-3 cut-in type of winger than a LM 'track back' winger

Decent player, he's not going to get in the team ahead of Mahrez/Schlupp/Albrighton/Knockaert right now, but he'd definitely be a useful option to bring on when a goal down, due to his set pieces. Not the most spectacular signing but happy enough, he's proven he can play in the Premier League and was part of Wigan's famous great escapes.

I thought he was Wigan's outstanding player in the cup final and he played more centrally than wide - he bossed the midfield that day ... here's hoping!

What is it with Ipswich pumping out good leftbacks?

As for Maloney, its a position we could use cover in, maybe he can prove hes still prem quality.
