Bart came in for dog's abuse after the Blackpool game, I was at the game and must admit was shocked. Numerous people saying he'd never wear a saints shirt again, some saying he was finished in the game - not me though

Sounds like he had a decent game today at Coventry, be interesting to hear someone's opinion who was at the match COYS

Bialkowski was in fairness class in the league cup and ironically blackpool at this stage in the cup last year.

Being at the game today his kicking was awful, he made 2 good saves but had a very poor first half where Coventry dominated!

Better second half hut e didn't really have much to do!

His kicking and judgment was dire today and he put the defence under pressure constantly by passing to someone being marked just outside the area <doh>

They said on the radio that other players where leaving him short with their passes. i think your being harsh.

you say a very poor first half we where only 1-0 down he can have been that bad.

The reason he passes it to people just outside the area is because he's being told to. It's no good whacking it upfield constantly to someone who isn't over 6ft!

Fair play to him, howevre by all accounts coventry are a very poor team, don't think Davis will ever be challenged for number 1 spot until he retires.

We need a new keeper then if Bart won't be able to challenge Davis. Davis himself is pretty poor overall, gets beaten by low drives far too often, parries into the danger area, isn't good at kicking, makes rash decisions on coming out of his area and basically isn't up to much.

    Bring someone in please Adkins.

His "save"that he parried against Bristol City was shocking and the one against Brighton aswell.I'm a big fan of KD but he can't keep doing that, for a championship gk it's not good enough.

Lol some of these comments are unbelievable. The only fault you can really say with Davis is his kicking. For a goalie that isn't a big problem.

He was at the game and was asked opinion! You can't doubt because you heard something on the radio!

I was at the game and the assessment was about spot on. He lacked confidence and only once was there a poor pass to him. His distribution was very poor.

You can't disagree with the statement that we need to buy a keeper though. Especially with our lofty ambitions.

We will need to buy a keeper at some point in the future but not now - there are far worse positions we need to deal with now such as wingers and strikers

To be honest, as we may need him to play one day, I'm just glad Bart has a game under his belt and we won.

TBH I've always thought there's not much difference between KD and Bart - all players need games and sitting on the bench most weeks isn't doing Bart any good, I think he should start in the next round of the cup. I think both keepers are championship standard but if we are promoted at the end of the season, we will require a new keeper. Full marks to KD though, he's shown real loyalty to us and over the season so far has been outstanding <ok> COYS

I disagree slightly. We need a winger as a priority but a goalkeeper is needed to take us to the next level. All IMO.

whilst i agree we need a keeper for the Prem, we are okay with bart/kelvin for now and we should adress wingers and a striker in this window
