I'm good thanks, mini-PN is actually due today, but shows no signs of shifting! Hopefully she'll appear before Cheltenham so I can put my feet up on the sofa :D

It'll be interesting to see if they publish the results of the survey or just summarise it for their own ends. Unfortunately I sincerely doubt BHA will take on board the majority view that the fixture list should be cut. I've heard Mr Bittar speak on several occasions about getting every horse to run once more per season to solve the field size issues. That smacks of someone who knows bugger all about training horses. You can't run a horse that is sick/unfit/mentally unable to cope with racing, you can only run a horse when it is ready.

If its born on Gold Cup day, you should call it Bob after the horse which wins the Gold Cup. If born on tuesday and you follow that naming convention you might end up with baby Hurricane!

I expect that like many we will be expecting that our responses to the survey will be lost when the statisticians do their usual job of knocking off the top and bottom five per cent of responses to arrive at an adjusted median ignoring the extremities.

They will probably not like the comments that I added in the “Final Comments” box on the last page but I called it how I see it.

Princess, when junior decides to put in an appearance, do not take any naming advice from anyone here and do not make the mistake that famous people make of giving their kids stupid names that will lead to years of playground ridicule.
