I think I heard an advert on Blunderside once with these two on it, sort of a Hull grannies thing going on with them, definitely got the Hull accent the pair of them no mistake at all!
Where the hell is Queens Court?? i think you mean Queens Garden. I never knew they filmed the One show there either. I could of sworn it was filmed in London..... good god
For those not familiar with the two ladies in question, these are they... please log in to view this image They have an unhealthy obsession with Michael Buble and they give the residents of Hull the benefit of their wisdom, along with playing the chicken dinner game(a game in which they say if something is better, or worse, than having a chicken dinner). They are bonkers, no-one on the One Show has ever sounded more Hullish, but good luck to them on beating Frank Skinner to win the entertainment category of the Sony Radio Awards(which is the reason they were on The One Show).
It was a positive story about Hull though (rare occurence now) - wonder what people in other parts of the country made of them.
Watch it olm, talking positive about something that isn't directly linked to hull city and some posters will be crying behind their keyboard.
