Just interested in what the odds would be for, say, Palace-Sunderland-Stoke to all be relegated as an acca. So I put it into odds checker, but then I thought that if I was doing that I could also put on all the other available teams to not be relegated as if those 3 are relegated none of the others will be obviously. I ended up with odds of 286.76 which seems ridiculously good. Is there anything I am missing here?

Probably yes.. As the events aren't mutually exclusive can you even put that on an acca? I'm sure yes but would likely have to ring them 287 seems way too high like you say would expect more like 20/1

Well actually see if you can place it? Often you can build up accas but when you try and place them it says certain one's cannot be combined.

it wouldn't be allowed. even if you managed to get it on, the bookmaker wouldn't pay out based on the rule of 'Related Contingency'

that's why they have special scorecast markets for 1st goalscorer and correct score because one outcome directly affects the probability of the other outcome.

it's like asking for a double on one boxer winning and his opponent losing. just wouldn't be allowed.

Stoke will go down if they get Hughes hopefully.

I was a tad worried with Wigan coming down this season but looking at Cardiff, Palace, Norwich, Stoke, Sunderland and Newcastle, we've certainly got a decent chance if we recruit well.

Birmingham, finished 13th, 10th and 12th in the Premier League befor being relegated, then immediately going straight back up again.

Went to Wigan, kept them up, then finished 11th the following season.

Went to Sunderland and finished 13th.

You're not big on research are you daft lad?

You can probably add Southampton to that list too and Fulham are prone to the odd wobble sometimes.

The reason I leave Fulham out is Berbatov. If a team were to go down with a player of his class something is really, seriously wrong.

He wasn't. Unfortunately, he's a little bit of a dribbler.

Disagree about Southampton, sounds like they're gonna be spending fairly big this summer.

West Brom and Swansea aren't going to do as well next season so I'd add them to the list.

Even Ian Holloway thinks Palace will struggle to stay up, and he said they aren't going to spend.
