Encouraging to see we have shorter odds than Wolves, Leeds, Blackburn, Fulham, Forest etc

But the bookies are obviously feeling the pain after offering 5,000-1 on Leicester.

Seems fair at the moment, clearly these odds will change a lot before the start of August

On the contrary, I think that they absolutely loved it. They must have made multiple millions when the usual bets on Man City, Utd, Chelsea, Spurs, Arsenal, etc went down.

I backed Burnley last year at 14-1 so made a bit on that

28-1 looks a bit short to me.

QPR interesting at 20-1 but at the moment I fancy Norwich (though that could all change when we see ins/outs)

At this time of the year it is bookie 10 punters nil .. the odds they are giving are designed to extract money with very little risk .. Burton at 50/1 that is a joke ... Newcastle are less than yesterday at 12/5
WE ARE TALKING WIN IT WITH THESE ODDS not promoted!
in about 4 weeks time teams like Burton Barnsley now @ 50/1 and Rotherham @ 66/1 will likely be longer odds although depending on buying/ selling Rotherham could be around 50/1 for a while
top of the table Newcastle are likely to remain around 1/1 to 5/2 Derby who made that weird statement about not going up! last season are a good bet now at 12/1 I think they will be chasing odds wise, Newcastle and Norwich a( fair bet at 10/1) with odds of around 3/1-5/1
City well 28/1, in reality as it stands, it is very cramped on a level playing field 24 teams after 1 thing is 1 chance in the 24 of getting it ... but start building in at least 5/6 ? teams getting a massive £xx millions boost and therefore able to afford "better/more costly" players then the chances of winning the prize are considerably less
Fairer odds now City around 50/1 ... ... Ipswich, Cardiff , Fulham, 35/1 QPR should be around 30/1 Burton now should be 100/1

BASED ON results ending last season City can expect / should expect 66 points plus an improvement with stronger team better formation , adding maybe 6 more, so 72 points, in season 2015/16 that would have been 7th theoretically ..cant be anything else than theoretically as it depends from whom the points came from
eg had we beat Derby twice beat BHA beat PNE drew with Burnley AND LOST to Middsbro once MIdds bro would have Won the league ... so it does DEPEND ON WHO YOU GET YOUR POINTS FROM ....
We will need points / point from Newc, Norw, Derby, Villa, Ipswich, Sheff, and Cardiff i before new year, if we have pretentions of being in top 6 and our odds will be 12/1 or better to win it 7/1 to get promotion!
