    Yes. Without a doubt.

We are getting harder to beat, just as poyet has stated, our defensive displays have improved vastly compared to last season where we came undone so many times to simple errors pretty much every week.

We drew again today, which makes 10 for the season, obviously going for a record at this rate. Goals seem to be our biggest problem, that is glaringly obvious, and if Fletcher isn't fit to start next week then Wickham has to start in the middle, with Buckley or Alvarez starting in that LW/LM position.

Still a huge improvement on last year, glad to be drawing games compared to losing them, but lets not forget who we have played in the last four matches, 3 of the so-called big teams, and a west ham side in very good form. Things are looking decent and will go our way at this rate, lets just have faith in what we're doing.

Some additions in January and who knows what could happen.

Thought Rev, Larsson, Wickham, O'Shea and Pantilamon were excellent today, keep it up lads.

Totally agree about wickham and fletch, connor would have buried jozy's chance today

I think we are better than last year and improving slowly. Big game next week that could define our season. Probably a draw then. We are continuing to pick up points. Larsson was superb today I thought and he is getting better. Thought Gus got his subs wrong today. I'd have taken gomez off and put Rodwell on after Gomez was booked and I'd have put Wickham up top subbing Jozy and bringing Alverez on.

Would we have scored today without a pen? Probably not.

Id have put fletcher and alvazez on, but for Jozy and Gomez. Go 4-4-2 for the last ten with Johno on the pitch too, who i also thought had a good game being very direct

This a million percent. There is no room for sentiment, I don't care how much of a nice guy he is, his job is to put it in the back of the net. And he can't score for $hit

We are desperately bad going forward, no pace, no ideas.

If we start conceding we are ****ed, we need a creative midfielder and someone who can score goals, or we need to change the system to suit Connor & Fletch.

fletcher is deadly with the right chances, but he's been out injured, and connor is very quick and strong. Two decent players, just need to get them firing, just played 4 hard games to goals were never gonna be flying in for us

To play Connor wide and favour Jozy was criminal in my eyes.

having jozy up front is like having the last person picked in P.E playing for us! it must be soul destroying for the rest of the team trying to win matches when our 'goalscorer' can not only not hit a barn door with a blunderbus, he cannot even pick the blunderbus up!!! having jozy up front just puts more pressure on the rest of the team im sure!!!

I thought Alvarez looked tidy when he came on mate, good passing with good vision to pick the passes, would like to see him get 90 minutes alongside either Gomez or Larsson.

Two things about the Jozy chance; first he had to keep back onside, second the ball was swerving away from him and not many players could have made it.

One thing about Jozy chance. Any half decent striker would have turned it towards goal. Any. The ball from Larsson was excellent, a good striker can play a ball slightly behind, he reacted as quick as a stoned Llama.

His reaction tells you all, he knows he ****ed it.

Just watched Gus' interview and he's having a whinge at not having the right players up top, or at least that's my reading of it, henxe not hitting the target or winning games.

Why the **** play Jozy Altidore in the central role then, with Connor out wide again. It doesn't fking work for ****s sakes. Have the balls to change that Gus and we just might create more chances and have the right players on the end of those chances.

I could wager a bet people could add a few.

I maintain he's not a bad player, the league is just too big for him, he's a ****ing tank but gets bullied by defenders.

He snatches at everything now, and it's not as if 1 goal will get him flying, he needs to go back to Holland, maybe even Italy he could do ok, but he hasn't the bottle or belief to make it here.
