we keep a consistent starting XI
with Pearson coming in and with a lack of fit attacking options we couldn't get our front 6 to gel. we seemed to do a little better towards the end of the season.
consistency in the starting XI I believe shall prove vital to team spirit and an understanding of the movement and likelihood of being aware of their team mates next decisions.
Do you agree and which XI should we start with, entirely up to you if you wish to use rumoured players either landing or departing the club.

No way would Adebola start and no way would Fryatt be played anywhere else but straight through the middle. You have also left out Koren <doh>

Why on earth would Chester be where you have put him? And that starting line is pretty damn defensive.......4-3-2-1?

If we don't count in Bullard and Olofinjana (for some reason)

    Gulacsi
    Rosie, Hobbs, Chester, Dudgeon
    Koren, McKenna, Evans, Stewart
    Fryatt Simpson

Bench: Basso, Dawson, Cooper, Cairney, Garcia, Adebola, Mclean

Edit: Would be nice with Ayala and another winger.....

If we sign Ayala, I expect that Chester will be used in the hole between the back 4 and the midfield as he was towards the back end of last season

Those players would better suit a 4-3-3.

    --------Gulacsi
    Rosie Hobbs Chester Dudgeon
    --Koren McKenna Evans
    --Stewart Fryatt Simpson

So would you then play 3 strikers and a very narrow midfield (necessitating the wide strikers to cover back) or play one striker (necessitating Fryatt to play on his own)?

If I was playing 4-3-3, I'd go exactly the same as Lambo, assuming Dudgeon is any good.

If I was playing 4-4-2, I'd have Koren right, Stewart left and Adebola and Fryatt up front.

Surely you'd play Koren left where he can cut in and pop up with a long shot like he did many times last season? Much more effective on the left IMO, Stewart is effective either side..

    --------Gulcasi---------
    ---Ayala Hobbs Chester-
    Rosenoir--------Dudgeon
    -----Mckenna-Evans----
    Koren-----------Stewart
    --------Fryatt---------

If not that, take out Evans and add Simpson up top with Fryatt

Why is everyone instantly dropping Dawson (cpt last year) and syaing Dudgeon will start no one has seen him play yet? I think Dudgeon may very well be a squad player next year.

I'm convinced Dudgeon will get the nod at left back ahead of Daws. I think the skip can still play every week, but it looks clear AD will become more of a squad player next season

I am pretty sure everyone is dropping Dawson because of how poorly he played at times last year, his lack of pace, lack of height and the fact that he was poor all round. The amount of times he could of given penalties away was getting ridiculously stupid....

I think Dawson will be on the bench and Dudgeon will start most games. Dawson's legs have gone.

He improved dramatically second half of the season, to a point where everyone decided the next boo boy would be Harper.

I think it is obvious he didn't improve dramtically by the amount of people who have dropped him......

I don't think anyone on these forums are the one's who boo'd Harper, and tbh i think that was very harsh as Dawson IMO was ten times worse.
