Only 3 games in an already we are letting it slip, only won by 2 clear goals let in 2 ..............COME ON CITY get a grip...............................lol
I do think that it WOULD be good not to get too carried away though - as Del is saying himself at the mo. We had a good run when he first came here and then it went Pete Tong for a while. Anyway - yesterday was great, haven't seen them play that well going forward for years! Del just needs to work out how to play as well as that away from AG now. By the way - that was the first time I've seen Mark Wilson play and I have to say I was disappointed. He looked very slow and made a few mistakes. Obviously from comments I've read he has impressed in other games so maybe it was just an off day? This season could be one where we all have fun and the moaning becomes a thing of the past. Then I predict we'll all start worrying about some team pinching Del instead!
"I do think that it WOULD be good not to get too carried away though - as Del is saying himself at the mo. We had a good run when he first came here and then it went Pete Tong for a while" I think you're right, however, when we do have that little bad run that is so inevitable there will be plenty coming on here to slate all and sundry.. Lets celebrate our club having something good to talk about for a while! Some sad git will be along soon enough to spoil it all...
Sure still got a smile on my face and here's why: 2 wins out of 3 Unbeaten at home Scoring goals Selection of goalscorers Good new signings Upbeat attitude Derek in charge When we suffer the inevitable loss the smile will still be here because I am a Bristol City supporter. Owzat????
Added to that Wooly is the new Gazza Albert is still here We look solid, yet threatening SL still loves us
don't understand what all the excitement is about....We have the third worst home defensive record in the Championship and still haven't scored on our travels. At least with KM by this stage last year we had beaten Leicester away.
Where have you been Manx ? Its the manner of our recent wins, our strength of squad, our body language (everyone looks so fit) and the inner confidence which we can all see in the players. Yes it might all go to hell in a handcart, but the signs are there for everyone to see that this could be the start of something memorable Personally I just want to enjoy every minute while its here PS I'll add to that list that we are all very relieved to see we are back in business, with our beloved chairperson influential once again. Welcome back Mr Lansdown, you have been sorely missed
Hi Brightred...... My comments were totally tongue-in-cheek, trying to show that selective statistics don't give the true picture. I was at the Blackpool match last September where the body language and inner confidence were so shattered, there could really be only one outcome. I am only sorry that I am not at Ashton Gate to share the euphoria and excitement and realistic case for optimism.
I just hope we dont win 4-3 on Saturday as we would be in danger of the rot setting in ! .c .o .m .e . .o .n . .y .o .u . .R .E .D .Z Z Z lol
It was a joy to be there for Palace and Cardiff. Confidence in abundance and everyone working hard for and with each other. No sign of half the team turning their back on goalscorers as has happened in the past. This really is DMc's team with his philosophy of working hard and keeping the shape. Suddenly we have at least four captains in the team. And a couple more in reserve on the bench with Marv and Morris. If Cunningham continues in this vein of form, he will soon be thought of as the best left back in City history! Agree with comment earlier about Mark Wilson - he seemed to be the one weak spot in the side and personally I prefer Richard Foster there. And would also prefer James Wilson to Louis. Really looking forward to listening to next one at Barnsley and next visit home is for Blackpool in November. COYR!!!!!!!!!!!!!
