I think that GAS LINE BOY in a real standout bet in this at 10-1. He was still swinging away in front when he made a slight blunder and unseated in the Peter Marsh last time out. He had most of them cooked already and as a course and distance there should not be any worries regarding the trip.
Rigadin De Beauchene looks nicely treated here if no worse for his Warwick fall. Goes off the same mark (133) and thrives in these conditions so 14/1 feels like a reasonable price.
Hope he wins for you but cor blimey that’s a lot of money your pals paid for him back in June. £44,000 for a horse just 6 months off a double digit age! Still if he obliges on Saturday that will start to look much better value.
Broadway Buffalo i suspect is well in and thats why were only seeing him now after the weights are out. Was an unlucky 2nd in the 4 miler at Cheltenham and was perhaps inconvenienced by the good ground in the Scottish National(missed out on the biggie by 2). Runs off 141 here, won at the track on heavy and ran in this last year improving nicely before knuckling on landing and falling. Unfortunately there isnt much of a price at present around 5/1
I know the yard were very suprised at how well he ran in the Peter marsh - The national is of course the target this year and hope to get past the first fence this year
