No, not the bookie from Salford. A thread to document all your failed flutters.

I'm on a roll with three winners in a row. Everton v Leicester (5/7), Sergio (10/13) and Palace v Arsenal (15/4).

So I thought I'd jinx myself by starting this thread.

May have a crack at the CL footie tonight.

    May not.

Have backed Spurs to win the PL at 9s on Betfair.

    Monstrous mug punt.

I lost £100 on the Cheltenham festival, £20 on the Grand national and £20 on The Masters.

It's not been a great few weeks!

Talking of Bet Fred, I got given a free £30 bet off the back of my failed masters bets so I lumped it all on a draw between Dortmund and Monaco tonight.

No doubt one or the other will win handsomely.

I think Dortmund will win. Not sure about Juve. Double is 3/1.

I only opened the Bet Fred account last week because it had way better Masters odds.

    I usually use William Hill.

No idea if they are 'best' though!

The best odds tend to be on the Betfair exchange

Only got a Ladbrokes where I live - don't bother with the on-line stuff - probably should for value etc. Ladbrokes are crap - they only paid places on the first 4 in the Grand National and on the first 5 in the Masters other bookies were offering better (although Ladbrokes were paying a 1/4 of the ods on each-way bets whilst some of the others were 1/5) - Ladbrokes have also been banned from showing live horse races from some courses due to some kind of dispute ...tossers <laugh>

They've changed a lot since my early days - back then you'd come out smelling like an ashtray and the missus would give you a grilling when you got home because it was obvious you'd been in one <laugh>

Anyway, I'd be **** at it...I'm sat 4th from bottom in the Prediction League.

Always used to on a boxing day, pre match.

Get some football bets on and also bet on the King George meet at Kempton.

Do that stood in the pub on the phone now!

Online betting has made it 'socially acceptable' to chuck money down the drain. The old days fumbling around a betting shop with pissheads and junkies trying to work out how to fill the stupid tickets out, was where it was at.

I now bet online on my phone. Lost £600 on Tennis a while back. Stupid ****ing idiot <doh>

This is why I don't do Android phones, they are the devil's playground.

Got my drug dealer phone, strictly phone calls and texts...no pictures either.
