simple with all the racing over the Xmas and new year what is your bet of the week and why?

Mine is DON POLI- everyone knows how much of a fan of him I am- currently Even money but the race could cut up in becoming quite a week renewal no Coneygree- surely Djakadam won't run leaving Carlingford Lough and maybe Sir Des Champs as the 2 main challengers which really I'm not going to worry about!

Road to Riches runs doesn't he? Easy to forget he was basically favourite for the Gold Cup in the lead up to the race and but only lost favouritism because of the ground softening. Still ran a blinder in third on ground that went against him. I'm also a huge Don Poli fan as everyone knows but definitely think he's no certainty here. Cheltenham will suit him loads more with the uphill finish and the extra distance.

Bet of the week is Vautour. Can't wait to see him announce himself as the new star in the sport :)

He does look as if he will be running again he looks he will be an always nearly horse against the top top horses eg The Don so altho he is not as much of a cert I make out I am pretty confident he will be hard to beat

Have backed Vautour too AP but forgot and backed Don Cossack the other day too woops <laugh> but if Vautour wins I will not complain but if DC Which I think he will i will be more happy! I was very impressed with him and he wasn't top rated chaser last season for no reason

Of course its never straight forward with me. You will all have eyes glued to the Kempton card and I really don't blame you but the bet of the week will be ridden by the jockey of the season and he isn't going to Kempton.
Dickie Johnson rides BEING GLOBAL for Caroline Bailey in the Huntingdon 1:50 and I think it hoses up. Only PP with odds and they go 4/1.

Don Cossack is for me a certainty in the KG, and is my best bet of the week. I don't see anything giving him any trouble. He looks a steering job to me. So I will be having my maximum bet on him:biggrin:

For me it has to be CUE CARD to prove that he really has turned a corner. Wouldn't mind seeing TEA FOR TWO, SIZING JOHN and THE NEW ONE coming in either <laugh>

    Wolverhampton
    1.00 Sir Roger Moore 6-4

If breaking from the 5b stall and getting to the lead this horse will burn everything off and win being eased down. If trapped wide it may be another thing, such is all weather racing.

Certainly turned a corner!! In THISTLECRACK and CUE CARD, Tizzard really does have a couple of beasts to go to war with come March.
