He was OK, not a brilliant game by all means, but he got another goal, taking his tally up to 6 or 7? brilliant for a guy that only started paying on January...

I remember Swansea last year where we were having a nightmare game and couldn't attack, he didn't have the best of games at all, provided an assist though, but I found myself wishing we never signed him, how glad I am now that we did!

i totally agree, i could see him partering a new signing if im honest :L never thought id be saying that this time two months ago!

Only thing is he can never finish a game, always seem to come off with a knock or being tired !

It's natural ^ He's still finding his feet in the PL, it's a totally different level to the Championship were you don't have to work as hard as you do in the PL which is faster, stronger and harder.

I really like him, getting better by game, showing good strength, good finisher, excellent work-rate, decent mobility and good on the deck.

i didnt think he looked tired today. he seemed to chase the ball down still right till he got subbed, id like to see best and ranger up front to form a partnership. i think ranger is the type of player that needs to feel wanted. i think if he keeps getting pegged back in the team its going to harm his development. lovenkrands is becoming a liability in my opinion and ranger should be chosen over him every time. i posted before about ranger... i know he has the problems with training. but how is it going to help if he is just being used as a late sub or not in the squad, i dunno if he was injured today. but things like this will not help the problem.
