Took the wife to Monza a couple of years ago, what an experience during qualifying our hire car got broken into and the sat nav got stolen. Whilst in the race the car got stolen a very expensive weekend that was. Good job the race was good to make it a little better Just wondering if anybody has had any other good/bad experiences they wish to share.
WORST: Silverstone 2012, (Cold + non stop rain) BEST: Spa-Francorchamps 2012, (Mixed weather and great people to hang around with.)
Ive seen some sickening behaviour from some fans before (towards an individual fan). even more sad that everybody saw it but did nothing. I went over and invited the guy to sit with us and join us for a beer
It always surprises me in a bad way how little people care for their fellow man. I once saw a man hit by a coach in Gran Canaria, I ran over to try to do what I could to keep him alive, but I have no medical training whatsoever (I really should do a first aid course), I was surrounded by a group of people just watching me, not a single person came to help me
Best :1988 Silverstone GP. First ever F1 race for me and a cracker watching Mansell in the wet take on the turbo's in his NA Williams-Judd Worst : 1988 Silverstone GP! It rained all bloody day, i was 9 years old, wet and cold.
Miggins: Please do that First Aid Course. 97% of sheep need the 3% with your instinct who do not think twice when someone else's chips are down. And thanks…
Off-topic. This 'Rep' system is slowly driving me mad! I can neither give it to Bando or Miggins, both of whom deserve it for their above posts. Why not? Why am I always told I have to "spread it around" EVERY time I try to use the system?!
Its ok just a simple like on my comments satisfies me I agree though, the rep system is a bit silly. but I guess it stops people constantly rep'ing each other (or negative rep'ing) which gives them a reputation they may not deserve.
Sorry you were saying....? I think the problem with the system is that we're too small a community for it to work properly. The need to "spread around" is fine when there's actually other people to rep.
