Wonderful feeling for a change, Transfer Deadline, and not worried about any additions/departures to the squad. I feel we have enough quality in our squad! Not glued to Sky Sports. Really nice feeling to be content!

Yep, it's good to get our business done early. We brought a CB and the Coq came from nowhere and became the DM we all wanted. In fact even next summer, unless some players leave, we only probably need another CDM.

It really is, usually will be glued to the screen now...I don't remember being this relaxed on transfer deadline.... Either I am panicking who is leaving or wondering who is joining. I just hope we have turned a corner with respect to how we do business...

First day of summer transfer window we get Kheidera on a Bosman.
And how about a cheeky £40m+£1 bid to Barcelona for Suarez as he doesn't seem to have set world alight there or is he just cutting his teeth (sorry)

This is the most contented everyone has been. This is the first time in quite some time that I feel that this team can actually challenge. I hope they continue the way that they are going and don't go back to their old ways. <ok>

I'm not sure if its been the best one, as most of the positives has been the team improving itself, though Gabriel is a very good signing (or looks it).

But its certainly been the calmest, the only signing we needed desperately was done early, we got a young, promising player in a position we need to develop, and anything else would have been a bonus.

It was eerie not watching the BBC Sport Updates anxiously and looking enviously at other teams signings. (though I do think Caudrado is an excellent signing, and it would have been nice to have signed Schurrle)

So what do you now expect from this season?

Tricky, as we'd need to have everyone remain both on form and hope the injury crisis' that ravaged the 1st part of the season are over.

I reckon 4th and quarters of CL are a minimum - 3rd/4th and Semi's and FA Final should be realistic if our important players remain injury free, and Gabriel turns out well. It's now cruical that Coq stays on form and injury free though

A good run at the title. Probably can't catch Chelsea but I expect us to climb up the table.

Perhaps a run in Europe too. We have a good draw.

Who know's? ..Im certainly optimistic it will be a big improvement on the first half of the Season

I'd certainly expect to see a much better defensive record if we get a more settled defence...

Hard to call. I'm loving the Paulista raving when hardly anyone has seen him play but with the players coming back from injury and apparent new style of play I think we can make a real go of the second half of the season. Our run-in, on paper, is reasonably generous. Spurs/United away and Liverpool/Chelsea at home are the ones which stand out but if we can beat Citeh like that then we should go into these with confidence.

I'd like to think we can retain top 4 and enjoy a solid turnout in the FA cup then hopefully take that into next season. We finally appear to have a team with some depth so will be interesting to see how far it can go if it gets some momentum.

    - Retain the FA cup
    - a good run in the Champs League (with a bit of luck along the way)
    - Get closer to Chelsea/City and further from the pack chasing 4th

I'd be really happy with third if we won the FA cup
