I have just been told by a Norwich fan that Leon Best is going to Norwich and that this has been said by someone who has never got a transfer wrong. Surely this can't be true and this guy is Norwich's version of Cwarr07? Best is our best striker at the moment, no pun intended. I can understand Norwich being interested in him, but I can't see us selling him!

    Anyone else heard this rumour?

I would very very surprised if this was the case, it would mean we need like 3 better strikers than him to come into the squad.

Same. I have bet £10 with him that he won't go to Norwich, so he better stay!

  7. HA!!

Leon Best has stated he wants to stay anyway, and he's currently our best striker.

That's the best they could come up with? Norwich are my pick to go straight back down, along with Blackpool and Blackburn..have I veered off topic?

No he wont leave for Norwich. <ok>

I'm gonna get the away shirt when it's dirt cheap with Best on the back. got the other two and i love best for coming in and doing what he did for us, but wont wanna get his name next season like if we're getting a much better striker.

  10. I'd love Blackburn to go down, and to be quite honest i can see Norwich AND QPR going down. If QPR's second best player is Routledge, then they're in for a struggle in this league.

And also, i don't see where all this hate from QPR fans towards Toon and Sunderland fans is coming from. Why do they hate us?

You can't tell as Blackpool have almost shown this year. But i agree 2 promotions in 2 years may well be too much

I think that Norwich had a very good first season back, like leicester did, but next season will have second season syndrome, for the championship, and therefore massively ****ed next season <ok>

And no way is Leonil Besti leaving

    Because we're better than them.
If QPR spend the money that they can then they shouldn't go down, their owners are richer than ambramovich I think?

Why would Besty leave Newcastle, a now established Prem team that he is first choice striker for and have 35 mil to spend this summer, for Norwich, a newly promoted team with a big chance of going down?

  17. West Ham are going down and they had 25-30 mil to spend preseason didn't they?

Also if a certain small club down the road hadn't have gotten a few flukey results at the start of the season, then they could have been relegated this season and they've spent over 100 mil+ since they came up <whistle>

I believe a QPR fan posted on the Newcastle board saying they will batter us. Then a Sunderland fan jumped in saying that Newcastle and Sunderland and the far better teams (Which we are) I don't see how they can be so cocky. As you said, there 'second best player' belongs to us!

I think Blackburn will continue to struggle with the KFC knock-offs still making poor decisions. However it will be a tough battle for Norwich and QPR to stay up. I still defiantly feel Blackpool will struggle terribly however. They remind me of Hull except everyone likes them. <ok>

Yeah I think so second richest club in the Prem now?
Money talks but having a **** stadium and being a smallish club wont help them attract the stars they have the money to buy for a long time yet.

  20. I'd love to nick Samba from Blackburn and watch them struggle without their Captain. He's the only playing holding them together.
