He even had what my parents used to call 'a sensible haircut' on Saturday...and often wears black boots! Love the lad....a shining example to all youngsters...and some older ones!
As I said in another thread, DC made a big statement on Saturday to him and everyone. Lockyer will be our captain next season. I will be shocked if he aint. Also, remember when we played him on the wing for a few games???? what were the management team at the time thinking!
Had the pleasure of talking to him at the open, very polite and honest was how he came across. I have said on many occasions on this forum that Tom Lockyer seemed to be under valued as a player, he always gives a hundred per cent, I don't think that losing is in his dictionary because he never gives up and I was really delighted to see him get recognition when he was made captain for Saturday's match
