Might want to close this thread before it descends into idiocy, OP clearly not a fan of either side and just trying to stir.

  5. Now that we've completed the North London Power-Shift, we've also made good on the London Power-Shift. It's touching that you and Chelsea are on exactly the same number of points.

Doubt you'll win three League Titles and four FA Cups like Arsenal have done since Wenger took charge though.

You can't class a best team. Obviously Arsenal have an impressive history, but in 2005 Chelsea had the best team in the world and now Tottenham play the best football in the league. I'd say Spurs ATM but you can't say what will happen next season or in the final games of this season.

Spurs are by far the best team, but Arsenal are by far the biggest club.

Currently its probably the Spurs team although Arsenal and Chelsea are very close in terms of quality. Its probably the closest its ever been.

However the best as a club?.. that's obvioulsy Arsenal. Bigger, more successful with a richer history.

This thread will probably end being closed, so I'm not going to start adding to the 'verbal jousting', though I was sorely tempted

I'll leave it at this, for me Spurs are the best team in London, but when it comes to trophies

    http://www.krysstal.com/trophies.html

Arsenal lead, then us, then Chelsea.

As a neutral, it is clearly Spurs.

They play great football and have the right balance between a solid defence and attacking flair; a balance that Arsenal have struggled with in recent years.

It will be a few years before Arsenal catch up with Spurs; Arsenal are spiralling downwards whilst Tottenham are on their way up.

There is a difference between spiralling downwards and doing terribly. It is not complicated, but I'll try and spell it out clearly for you.

A few years ago you were winning things and had several world class players. Over the past few years you have progressively got worse to the point where you may finish outside the top 4 and you only have one world class player.

No doubt he will leave and will be replaced by a good but not world class player, as has happened often under Arsene Wenger.

You are going backwards. You can close the curtains and switch off the TV, but the truth will always find a way to be heard.
