Based on performances so far and their likely performances. I've gone with these players: -RVP from Arsenal. This guy is class, and if he stays fit he is easily one of the best players in the world. -Kagawa-Looks quality so far, he had two great seasons at B.Dortmund. -Berbatov-For me, this is the signing of the window. Can't believe no "big clubs" made a bid for him.He oozes class and finesse. He is 31, but still has some good years ahead of him. -Clyne-I think this boy has been fantastic for us so far this season.I'd say our best player over the three games. -Ramirez-He has been touted as a great player with great potential, hopefully we'll be a good player for us. -Michu-Has been a revelation at Swansea. He was the top scoring midfielder in La Liga last year. Who do you think has been the best signing in this window?
Michu is class, Dembele is also going to be big for spurs. Allen is a tidy player for liverpool and Carloza will do a good job for the Gunners. Not sure we can say Ramirez yet though.
So far, it has to be Michu and RVP. With probably Hazard in third. But over the course of season, and in terms of the extra points he will bring (which ultimately is what it is all about), I think Carroll will turn out to be the signing of the season.
Carroll is already crocked though and he does seem to get more than a fair share of injuries. If RVP stays fit he'll get 20+ goals and be most valuable. Hopefully Ramirez will prove a bargain for us too!
Michu Dembele Hazard Clyne Cazorla Allen Kagawa Van Persie All great signings. I think Ramirez is potentially a really good one too. I have reservations about Berbatov. He has more than enough class to replace Dempsey, but Fulham will struggle to replace the dynamism they got from Dembele. Having a player with such stamina and workrate is a blessing when you're up against it. Good teams make you chase and that knackers players. I wonder whether since selling Dembele, Fulham have the quality to give Berbatov the sort of service he wants as he's not the sort of player who creates his own chances.
