for me its easy, David James coming to Bristol City still a top quality keeper but an all round good bloke. No ego (taarabt) no stupid wage demand (yakubu) and without him we'd be down already!:afro:

Neil Warnock. He did sign at the end of last year, not this year, granted. If that's allowed, then he's obviously and easily the best signing of the season.

Another 'home' vote I'm afraid: Adel Taarabt. Whilst he isn't the full monte: sulks, goes missing, has off days etc.. he's the undeniable presence to date and the first name that will come to mind when talking about Championship football 2010/11 in years to come.

Liam Rosenior by a mile. The fact he is our right back and best attacking player we have tells you all you need to know. He should be in the Premier League, Scott Sinclair would be my other choice. Liam Rosenior is the best attacking full back in this league by a mile.

Which is why he didnt make it into the PFA Championship team of the year and Kyle Naughton did; easily best in the league by a country mile. Im happy to nominate Fryatt as another option for best signing though because his goals may well be very influential in such a short period of time!
