    Rafa or Klopp?

    Then Houllier?
Followed by Dalglish then a long way back to Brodgers then Woy?

Has Klopp surpassed Rafa in your estimations or does he need to win something first?

Houllier didn't leave Rafa as broken a team as Brodgers left Klopp.

    Gotta win something first..
Under Rafa we were CL regulars, winners, finalists..
But I like the cut of Klopps Jib!
    Potential needs to be realised..

We were a lot more predictable under Rafa. You roughly knew what the starting line up, tactics and performance was going to be like.

Under Klopp we are so unpredictable, we could be absolutely terrible or brilliant but obviously still really early days.

Whether that's a good thing I have no idea but I have to edge with Rafa for now because of Istanbul and Cardiff.

    hmmmm..

Even a rafa v houllier debate is tough.. in the end rafa won big ears and thats amazing but houllier won something historic.

I would say rafa overall had more tactical and scientific approach but houllier is not to be underestimated

Houllier signed hyppia, hamman and many others.. and many flops

Rafa signed torres reina and alsono.. and many flops.

    Honeslty i'd not split them.

Its patently obvious of recent times klopp comes third even if kenny won a league cup cos lets face it he cared a lot but he wasn't into the modern game.

I would go joint first Rafa and houllier and 2 sconed klopp. third keeny and the other 2 are total ****e.

    Rafa
    Houllier
    Klopp
    Rodgers

Klopp has done nothing yet. 2 cup finals but no wins. Rafa won the big one and had us top 4 most season and won FA cup.

Houllier 00 season was brilliant to win all that.

Interesting. You put Rodgers above Dalglish? Is that based on Brodge doing better in the league.

I thought Kenny did OK (not great). 2 cup finals and one win in a short stint in charge.

Must admit I'd forgotten about Kenny in that recent list.

Kenny won the LC but Rodgers gave me personally the most exciting league football since I've been alive (even if it was 90% Suarez!). I know trophies always mean more but that league campaign was a joy to watch.

I will look at this from the perspective of who took us most to heart and who we took most to heart -
    Dalglish
    Rafa
    Houllier
Looking forward - I think Klopp will:
Looking back - Rodgers never did

We can only hope that Klopp will win the league title that dented the achievements of Houllier and Benitez.

He's got a harder task than either of those men had. Not only are things more competitive overall. We're further behind financially than the top earning clubs and we no longer have the clout and drawing power to attract top talent.

However he has owners that are willing to back him and excessive amounts of tv money to spend.
