Wondering which is the best pub with the best atmosphere for Saturdays game? Could go but don't want to freeze my arse off & not have a pint in my hand for the full 90 minutes. Not the same pint BTW!

The only pub I go to before a game is Claredon down Southcoates Lane, so I don't know if there are any better. It depend where you are in Hull I suppose.

I think you'll find 8 pints before the game will affect your brain neuron thingymejigs and you won't feel a thing...

8 PINTS! Do you realise what time the game kicks off? 8 pints is just the warm up before I go out. I am considering going but I do enjoy watching the game in the pub too, saves me £28, plus £3 for the programme, plus £3.something for a pint in a plastic glass.

Barracuda in old town will be busy for the match, usually a good atmosphere as well. It's got a big ass projector screen and surround sound so you can't miss the match.

**** wrong street. You are right. I get those two mixed up quite often for some reason. God knows why, they are miles apart.

It is. The only battle cruisers I can think of down Southcoates are Highland Laddie and Ravenser.

I will be attending the match and then trying to get my arse to pub ASAP afterwards, to attend a gathering for my grandad's 90th shindig.

It looked like it was going to be a stark choice between the two, but some top notch negotiating skills from Party and my mother have made both possible!

I'm actually glad this game has been moved as my train back from London arrives mid afternoon and I wouldn't have made a 3pm KO

No, it's on the corner of Newbridge Road and Southcoates.

I think the one you're thinking of has been pulled down?
