Who would you give it to so far. As much as I love JET he does has his off days and the one players I pray starts is Derrick Williams. IMO our best defender and has been so solid since arriving. Keep forgetting he is only 21 and honestly believe he will go on to be OUR caulker. So he takes my choice for the best player so far.... Over to y'all
JET has been the most important wouldn't say he has been the best though. Just my opinion though others differ
JET for me by a distance too. Though he may sometimes appear to drop the workrate, the amount he contributes more than justifys his quiet moments. Though people may like the effort and commitment shown by players that run all match long, players with the ability to create something from nothing are rare and should be treasured - as well as that, his attitude seems to be very good and he's enjoying his time here.
And he wants to stay as sod says in his extracts,now for Billy Sharpe to play alongside him as ROD says
As much as I like Jet, I don't buy this ****e that without him we would be in the mire! **** me with him playing we are yep in the mire? So without him it might be better for all we know just maybe we might see a player to play alongside Baldock in a formation that suits him. At this rate he will leave in January to save his career. Best player for me like Shiny I didn't like starting without Williams and feel he should be automatic starter for me. Like it when Reid or Bryan play as they both offer options the rest just seem to be like rabbits in the headlights. Don't worry because we will be told Port Vale away and Carlisle second half away we was great so we should be ok.
JET Twentyman hit the nail on the head last night when he said we should not be accommodating JET, we should be building our side around him.
Geoff is spot on, this is what i would play -------------------Parish------------------- -----osbourne-------Flint---------Williams Bryan-------------Gillett----------Elliott--------Waggy ------------------------------Jet----------------------- --------------------------Baldock------Harwood/another striker. We have to play our best player and yes build a team around him. I do not pretend to say this would solve our problems but this would be a good start and see where it takes us.
