Good post mate. It's also a great development that the media has had their attacks on SAFC shoved down their throats to a point where we're their 'darlings'.
A good point being made that the cup run helped keep us up rather than get us relegated! Beating good sides in the cup run showed that we had a chance against them in the league, we didn't just roll over!
Cattermole's leadership and determination deserve the mention they get as for me he is a good old English style battler that every team needs. Personally I think the lad got at least three reds he did not deserve. Had he done what Vidic did last Saturday he would have got two reds. Just glad he never went in January.
