Absolutely the best performance I have seen for ages. We absolutely outclassed Notts County and it was an amazing team performance.

Best I have felt this amazing season coming out of the gate!

Notts County were very very poor, the poorest side i have seen at the gate.

Completly run ragged by a slick city performance.

They did give up trying to stop us at the end but their performance shouldn't take away from ours today.

Yeovil and Crawley are the worst I've seen at City this season.

Teams might look crap because that's the whole point, you make them look crap. When Man U was on top they constantly made the opposition look crap.
Well done city on making them look crap

JET played very well and I liked the way that he linked up with Bryan today- I thought the two of them worked very well and effectively- Very close, but I thought Bryan was MoM

JET was virtually unplayable yesterday. Aside from that brief spell at the start of the 2nd half I though County were very poor and they're a right bunch of moaners, especially Roy Caroll. As for Derry, what a twat !

So is JET playing out of his skin because he's finally getting a run in the side, or is he trying to attract a new club I wonder ?

We did what we have threatened to do all season at home, and took Notts apart. By any reckoning we hammered them even if we did not get six or seven and this against a team with only ONE away defeat and ONLY EIGHT goals conceded away before yesterday.

Obviously it was a joy to see JET in such form but the most pleasing thing was how every member of the team looked comfortable on the ball, how we played sensible possession football throughout the game, not giving too much away and making sure we did not give Notts any opportunity for letting them start any rough stuff.

The highlights were Little's sixty yard run and shot that must have been very close to another goal and JET's amazing pass from near the dugouts to Joe Bryan in front of the Dolman.

It is now feet on the ground time. Another FA Cup game on Tuesday and another tough looking away match at Scunny who are in form with five wins in an unbeaten seven match run. Ain't life exciting at City this season.

I posted recently that we were lacking a certain zest to our game but it appears that yesterday we found it at last. Forget some comments that the opposition were poor because when you are a contending team that's exactly what is expected, if not demanded.

What better time of the season to show the pretenders that we mean business in a big way and however delirious we feel after yesterday it pays to remember that you are only as good as your next game. Bring on Scunny.

We were the unstopable attacking force we were earlier in the season yesterday. I liked the fact that we were going to the byeline and crossing it back. We score so many goals from doing that.
