For some reason, when I try and do a cross board thread, it doesn't work. Is it my OS?
Im on windows xp and am running firefox. Would this cause any problems?

    All help/advice greatly accepted.

    Regards to all

I don't like firefox - I find it too slow!

Google Chrome is my favourite, and I have no problem posting cross-board threads, although I sometimes have trouble moderating them!

I doubt Firefox is the problem as such, have you done all the usual bits n bobs like cleared out temp files and cookies and started again? Try upgrading to the latest version of FF v10 now
Have you got any plugins running like noscripts, flashblock etc?

I like Google Chrome a lot too but the lack of plugins/extensions and the fact that the Roboform toolbar can only live at the bottom irks me greatly

Does it being the fastest make it the best? what about security too? I agree with you Chrome is the fastest BUT the lack of extensions is a real PITA once you've used noscript and flashblock among others even with Chrome being fractionally faster it's a tough sell. Having said that Google are now putting APIs in place to allow in depth extensions to be used.

I used FF at work and Chrome at home as Chrome isn't quite compatible enough for some bespoke softwarey type stuff unfortunately

    Anything but IE <laugh>
