Me also , a point would be awesome for us. I don't mind us losing the game as long as we play well and compete. Daft defending will get totally punished by Spurs, so lets hope that our boys don't give them 2 goals like they did against Utd. Id love 1-1 but its gonna be a hard game, spurs play some great football too so it might be either a master class of football or a game of tactical chess by both managers
It's a game we'll be looking to win, like all home games, but one where a point wouldn't be a disaster for us either tbh
Always had a lot of time ,and respect, for Tottenham Hotspurs',one of the great football Clubs. One of their greatest ever teams boasted two ex Swansea Town wingers in Cliff Jones and Terry Medwin.
Would be great to get a point don't know if both teams would want any injures as we both play on thur again. We all hope its a better game than the way we played vs Man u last week. Going for a point with Bony scoreing for us
I expect a Spurs' win but we are capable of snatching a point. On our day we have the talent to beat any team in this division. What sets the top teams apart though, is that they have such "days" far more consistently than most. I'll accept a defeat at WHL so long as we put in a good performance and our defence doesn't gift Spurs some goals the way they did against Man Utd.
Haha can't blame the spurs team, they are just doing what they need to. It's the ref that has ruined this game.
I've not seen it yet but it sounded like the one that should have been a pen wasn't but the one given was a dive (which I hate btw). Were there other poor decisions?
Apart from the penalty... Shelvey getting booked after winning the ball in a challenge, spurs getting a goal kick after a deflected shot, us getting a throw in instead of a goal kick in the corner, Dawson sliding through one of our players from behind with the ref giving nothing then Michu getting booked for exactly that in the next phase of play. These examples are not just my opinion, they are blatant mistakes by the ref as shown in the replays. These just off the top of my head but he also gave you virtually every 50-50. It was the most one sides referee performances I've seen in a good while.
