Granted United had a piss easy group, but Chelski could and should have qualified. There was no one in there who you thought should have given you massive problems. Two good teams in shaktar and juventus. But hardly Barcelona

What happened showed that what happened last season was a freak and was very much down to luck.

But that doesn't explain this season's implosion and self destruction on a massive scale...
