I think our front men have struggled since Shola decided he fancied auditioning for Phantom of the Opera. (Best threat at the weekend came from Enrique)
I think Pardew will stick with the same team as Saturday but if there is a change I think it'll be up front. Maybe he'll give Kuqi a run out to see if he can hold the ball up a bit better and bring the runners into the game.
Anyone else got any thoughts on the matter?

He will use Ranger, Best and Lover before Kuqi. He said that if we don't use Kuqi its a good thing (not in a nasty way) because that will mean we are playing well.

I'm hoping for a Ranger start tonight.

Hoping for Ranger up front tonight.

The laws of probability state he must score some time. Sods law on the other hand begs to differ...

I thought Lovenkrands had an alright game at the weekend and made some intelligent runs, Kuqi could be a good support striker to him. Big and physical and able to hold the ball up.
I never understood why Lovenkrands didn't get many starts when we got promoted, cause him and Carroll were a good partnership last season.

Best has been ok but hit and miss, but more consistant than Ranger. I think Ranger is best used as an impact player to build up his playing time and confidence. He's a prospect but is struggling to even get a shot on target.

I'd go with Lovenkrands and Best to start with, see how best goes on and maybe look to bring Kuqi on with 20-25 to go. If Birmingham defence is slow then I'd maybe use Ranger instead for the last 20-25 mins.

I'd love to see a Ranger & Lovenkrands Start tonight but I reckon Pards will start Best & Lover. We should be giving Ranger more time to settle into the game, 20 minutes here and there isn't enough. He's just the type of player we need to bully Brum's defence. We have to play 4-4-2 imo otherwise we'll never break their defence. Would love to see Kuqi score though, I like the fella!
