To start I think Pearson has done an amazing job of changing our squad around in the time he has. After the last 4or5 games watching the new team take shape im more and more impressed with the players hes brought in. What I would like to know is who do you think will be the best long term signing in terms of what they achieve at city or resale value? I think Fryatt looks a class act, Cameron Stewart is as exciting a player as weve had at city for some time , Mcleen works hard and his goals today will do him no harm, Rosenior and Koren are great signings and Simpson could yet come good playing alongside one of our new front men? For me though James Chester has really caught my eye ,reads the game , calm on the ball ,times tackles to prefection and has even popped up with a goal. So for me its Chester I can see him been a top player.
so how long before chester moves to a big club? incidentally i think he still has a lot to learn but will grow rapidly if he signs, i think that evans will prove to be the smartest move that Mr Pearson has made....
Fryatt for long term Chester for re sale value This is assuming we get stuck in the Championship for many years. If we get promoted then Chester will be cemented 1st teamer.
agreed mussies I think young corry look a great player, reasonable eye for a pass, composed on the ball, loves a tackle and shows good tenacity. If only he was a foot taller to win more headers, ohh well can have everything.
I actually think Chester will be with us for a long time because if he succeeds Bigger Clubs will be frightened off signing him by his height. As for Evas, I said after one game he looked the real deal. Very, very impressed with him, reminds me of Scott Parker. Hope we get him.
Liam Rosenoir i can see him laying claim to the right back position for many years to come. Also i see Chester as a real star and possible captain of the team in the future if he doesnt get sold you know what we are like for selling our best defenders though
