Best performance I've seen from a Sunderland player this season. The Tunisian fella made some great deliveries, looks a player. Kone was strong and powerful. If these players can keep that up, then we have a great platform to get out of trouble. Most excited I've been for years. Well played lads.
The new players certainly played their part and look to be fitting in quickly. I still do not like us lumping the ball in the air for little Defoe so the sooner we get him a strike partner or better off the ball runners the better.
He wouldn't have came if the saints wanted him. I'm happy with what we've got, just hope it's not too late

Just feel Sam could have pushed someone further forward to occupy the other centre half, N'Doye is another provider rather than finisher by the look of him. SA to sort out soon hopefully.

Great performance, excited as everybody else. However, taking a step back, we got beat tonight and other teams around us gained points (That Bournemouth result was a right kick in nads). Looking at the next fixtures, I'm hoping it's not going to be, to little, to late...
Cattermole was guilty of this, i was screaming at the telly wanting him to play the simple pass but he kept humping it long and giving it away. My only negative comment on last nights match. Kone looks solid, if he'd berried that header we could have won that game. Between him and O'Shea they kept Aguero very, very quiet Kirchoff looks a prospect and has good feet and picked out some great passes and interceptions. Khazri came on and looked a bit out of sorts for a short spell then found his feet and looked lively. Finally we have someone who can deliver a corner FFS. He will only get better once he settles. ****ing hell (KKK) I loved the way Big Sam made sound tactical changes that lifted us, usually in the past our subs have flattened the game. We deserved something out of that game and city will feel they got out of jail.
