Michael Brown scored an absolute peach against us in the fa cup in the 4-3 loss I went to. Would love to see that volley again, some finish that.

Think the best goal I saw live was Lee Martin's sublime goal at Birmingham away a couple of years ago, ran with it then thumped it top corner from 25/30 yards out.

I haven't seen a huge amount of " quality " goals live, or at least not many spring to mind!

Leighton Baines for Wigan when we beat them 3-2 at Portman Road.

Benty scored a brilliant winner and we all went home delirious as we were top of the league at Christmas!

Best Goal I've seen scored by a Town Player!

There have been so many but any goal scored by Reuser they were all technically brilliant.

Marcus Stewart's brace against Bolton in the first leg of the playoff semi final.

Kevin Bettie's belting free kick against Bohemians Prague in the UEFA Cup.

Trevor Whymark against Lazio when he scored 4 in the UEFA Cup.

Roger Osbourne FA Cup winning goal.

The list is endless after 40 Years of watching Town! <ok>

Impossible to pick, the likes of Gates, Whymark, Mariner and Muhren seemed to always score great goals!! The longest range i ever saw live was The Beats free kick against Leeds, think Harvey was in goal and he totally misjudged it, i seem to remember Kev just turning to the crowd and shrugging his shoulders, as if to say how about that!! Saying that, did Cundy not score from inside own half against us, not sure if i saw it or dreamt it during one of my drunk sleeps!!

Spanish I remember an absolute belter by Clive Woods against Leeds in the 1975 FA Cup Replay at Leicester. A beautiful curling shot from distance I remember my old Dad started celebrating as the ball left his foot! Very happy days!

Add to that list both of Marcus Stewarts goals away to Bolton in playoffs, top drawer!! Also Mathies first against the scum, good goal but even better because it was against them and we went on to put 5 past them! Any Reuser goal, just loved that bloke!!
No Westy, this is impossible to pick, so so so many, i bet the Budgies would pick one of two goals, one by Fash against Liverpool (i think) and the other by Jeremy Goss against some German side, cant quite remember who tho?

Fabs equaliser against Manure at the start of our last visit to the Premiership?Perhaps not the best technically but still very enjoyable and showed we were going to be able to hold our own at that level.

For the sheer drama than nothing surely beats Magilton's 3rd goal in that unforgettable second leg playoff against Bolton! We were pretty much dead and buried before Jim slammed home from a Mowbray knock down just outside the box! Reuser scored the most exquisite goal at the end to seal the deal.

This must rank as the most exciting game of football I have ever witnessed and I still get a tingle when I think back to the events on that memorable night!

I can't remember who it was against but Taricco running the length of the pitch & scoring off the underside of the bar was good. For novelty's sake, how about Frank Yallop scoring against Man U
