Not according to the Arsenal board: they aren't big game bottlers anymore!! 10 points from 30 says in big games says different to me
I like Claude, but he's gone off the rockers in this one, needs to get a grip, looks like a ****ing unstable maniac, you'd think we were Spurs or something, we're still third and in a cup final, he's acting like the world's ended.
I would laugh my cock off if Spuds didn't make CL place (again), lost in Mickey Mouse Cup final, became more deluded about a non existent power shift, and finished miles behind Arsenal (again) .......... Hang on a minute that's happened already !!!
Frankly, I'd rather us not play in the Europa, so I'm not bothered if we lose our last two matches. Also, us losing out on Europe would send a very clear message to Levy that hugely misspent the Bale money, and that he should have had the right management team in place before frittering it away on pointless players. It was mis-management on the largest scale.
If I were an Arsenal fan I think I'd feel the same way. Third or fourth is fine if you're pushing the league leaders but Arsenal have come nowhere near this season. An FA cup will be a huge silver lining (far from guaranteed anyway) but it's been pretty poor stuff from Wenger again. The spine of that team need to be improved significantly to get within five points of Chelsea and mount a serious CL challenge next season, let alone winning one of them. Ospina and Giroud probably aren't in the top six in the league for their positions. Hypothetically, getting in Cech, a proper striker and a defensive midfield player would get them closer but the signing most necessary for the club is Klopp.
Every year Wenger keeps Arsenal in the top 4 is just another year he stays in the job and another year Arsenal won't seriously challenge for the title. Keep Wenger In. Arsenal getting Klopp would worry me.
Yes. He would have a big task addressing their culture of failure and changing their mindset. FFP is here Goons, you need to specialise in success
I'm not so sure. City's squad needs a huge overhaul to compete. Kompany, Toure, Silva etc. are only going to get worse and there aren't many top players of the right sort of age. Arsenal have the makings of an excellent squad which with a couple of tweaks and a different manager could go far. It won't, but could.
Rubbish! £ity have a far better squad than Arsenal, it's just that it's not being managed properly. Klopp in charge if £ity would be a far better proposition than Klopp in charge of Arsenal.
You admitted that many of your quotes have come back to haunt you mate. Why keep doing it to yourself ?
Strange that you recall the one and only time I have been haunted by a mis-prediction (ie. Bale), and don't recall the many several times that I have called it correctly, such Fab and Naz leaving your club for bigger English clubs, when you and several others screamed me down and banned me from your board for daring to take an alternative line to that adopted by your militant wum-mods. Come on, PISKIE! There are going to be quite a few top jobs opening up, this Summer, including the £ity job, and probably the 'Pool one, too. Do you really think that Klopp would chose Arsenal over either of those two clubs? I know you love your club, mate, and are fiercely loyal to it (as we all are to our own clubs), but please do not let it blind you to the truth!
For Klopp to join Arsenal or City or Liverpool it would need the clubs to sack the manager they have, which means you could also include any club in the PL in the list as there are no actual vacancies apart from West Ham as Fat Sam hasn't yet renewed his contract. I don't see Arsenal sacking Wenger but if he retains the FA Cup he might hand over to Klopp - but I think it is highly unlikely as AW has the nucleus of a title challenging team and just needs to add a couple more upgrades at GK and DM and Striker
