Loved his early stuff....got a bit boring after 'Billy and Albert' Current favourite.... Jim Jeffries
He's got a tendency to try too hard I think. Still a funny guy though, doesn't rely on shock or offence to get laughs.
Yeah he probably does, kind of adds to his charm though he's like a puppy that's eager to please. Sounds patronising but you know what I mean.
An audience with Billy Connolly is the funniest show I have ever seen! The incontinence pants sketch being the best ever!
It wasn't all that long ago that Michael McIntyre had me in stitches, now I'd like to punch him square in his smirking face, mid skip preferably. Peter Kay had a brief golden age until it transpired that he didn't have any new material beyond the dunking biscuits routine.
George Carlin at Carnegie Hall - the second time I think. "For a while there Richard Prior and I were having a little bit of a competition. Richard Prior had a heart attack ... so I had a heart attack. Then Richard Prior burnt himself up. **** that. I had another heart attack."
I honestly couldn't say which is my favourite of all time.. some of The Big Yin stuff has been great. I also loved Dave Allan..I have never liked Chubby Brown though..I don't find him funny at all.
George Carlin was very funny, but like others I enjoy The Big Yin...Peter Kay, Eddie Murphy and Dave Allen. However that Michael McIntyre is about as funny as aids.
