Was looking at some boards, and noticed some decent match Previews going along. Thought it'd be different to have a vote on who does the best one

There's a few tasters of what goes on. Vote properly without bias or else it just ruins it.

A few rules:
1) You cannot vote for yourself (If you're in the poll).
2) You cannot boost voting (I.e. having a signature saying "Vote for ....") or encourage voting for a specific nominee.

* There is -1 vote for Shinycitylad7 and +1 for me, as Zidane's Left Foot has requested to change his vote

I have started the voting and have gone for Shinycitylad7. It's got a lot of info in it, pretty eye-catching with the photos and looks like a proper Match Preview.


Will have to be stealing some ideas...

 

ellandback's preview looks suspiciously similar to BBC Sport's Previews...

 

When Candy Man manages to write in such depth about both teams in the light of recent events, I'll give him my vote. It was between him and Shnycitylad7.

If both Candy Man and Shinycitylad7 could join theirs together, it would be brilliant

 

not a lot between them to be fair,but Elland just gets the vote for me.

 

I've voted for Mex more as a blanket one for the various people who have done the Watford not606 ones over the years. These are generally done by people who don't live in the country, realise that a lot of the readers are in the same boat, and therefore pull out all the stops to round up the week and give people a real flavour of the matchday feel.

Today's thread isn't really representative of the usual standard, what with the match being on a Friday rather than Saturday, and the author knowing that everyone will be able to watch.

Shiny creates a great match thread, fair to either team, latest info, match history and a good read, great coming from 'our kid'!

 

Shiny shades it from me,he has good depth to his match articles,good pics,and makes it very interesting.

These are all perfectly fine justifications, thanks for taking neutral perspectives on it lads.

 

Do take note of changed votes in the OP. Shinycitylad7 and ellandback are to be deducted 1 point as the original posters were meant to click elsewhere.

Meaning for the actual results so far, Shinycitylad7 and ellandback are actually one less than stated, and Candy Man and Mexican Hornet are 1 more than the stated value.

I voted for Mexican Hornet as his pre match previews are precise, informative and interesting ... and he's a fellow hornet.

 

I liked Candymans but sorry I think Shiny's shades it with the pictures and to be truthful I know it takes him ages to get all the info together to give a non biased opening match thread. But that is not putting the others down as they are all good

 

Candy Man gets my vote.

Although Shiny is a very close second.
