I thought that would be an easy pick, bloody tough choice. Wiggins it is.

Easy, Luke Campbell winning a gold medal beats the rest by a long way.

Jess Ennis for me, followed by Andy Murray's gold medal and him winning the US Open.

Tough choice between Mo and Murray but on the basis of me shouting at the tv for the last 400m i've gone for Mo

That's an unbelievable choice up there.

I went with Hoy because he's officially our greatest Olympian, but every choice there has it's merits.

    Hard decision.

I went with Campbell, as personally, that was the moment I enjoyed most(I had a house full getting pissed for the final fight, so that's probably just me).

It's very close though, it was the best finish to the Premier League season ever, Ennis and Wiggins were fantastic, Farah I'm marking down as he wasn't actually born in Britain and though Murray's achievements are amazing, he's fairly easy to dislike.

Wiggins, Ennis, Hoy and Murray were all brilliant. I had to go for Mo though.

Man City's win was amazing too. I probably got more excited about that than the others, but Mo deserves my vote.

Frankly it is too hard to chose, so I went for Jess as she is the best looking. That's the only thing I could come up with to seperate one from another.

I'm surprised that so many are. It was a great achievement by Luke, and made even better because he is from Hull - but surely it doesn't compare to the first ever British winner of the Tour de France, a Brit being the best female athlete in the world, a tennis grand slam, our greatest Olympian ever or a double long distance Gold?

The end of the premier league was amazing. It could not have been more exciting.
I'm not really into athletics or cycling, although I recognise the incredible achievements, they're not that exciting for me.

Murrays match was class last night. I've never stayed up till 2AM watching tennis, so that gets my vote.

I agree with Gawge. If the poll was for best Hull sporting moment I would have voted for him. I'm surprised Ellie Simmonds hasnt had any votes - her achievements in the pool were phenomenal.

Very tough choice though, but I think I'm going to go for Farah. The atmosphere in the tapas bar where I watched the 5,000 metre final was electric. The whole place got up from their tables and gathered round a small tv, all cheering him on. So for that reason that was the result that I enjoyed the most (although that could have had something to do with the copious amounts of red wine consumed)

I took the family to watch the Judo finals in the Excel Arena, and really enjoyed the Olympic experience.
Having great memories from most of the achievements listed in the poll, nothing beats watching somebody from your home town, winning a Gold.

I've gone for Murray. Purely a personal decision based on the fact I had/have no interest in the Olympics and I've followed Murray throughout his career and it was fantastic to see him win last night.

Plus, it was against the defending champion and a player unbeaten on hard court since 2010.

Might be slightly against the grain, but I wouldn't vote for Wiggins. He might have taken the personal glory from the TDF but he would have been nothing without the rest of his Team Sky. Cavendish made a massive sacrifice this year for Wiggins to win.

He only won 2 stages this year.
