Gonna get one of these for my unit. Doesn't need to be ultra portable, or waterproof. I prefer sound quality over volume.

Been looking at Bose Soundlink mini, UE boom and Mini Rig. Probs gonna buy one second hand off ebay so it doesn't need to be a new model.

    Got any recommendations ?

    Don't get a UE Boom, they're ****.

Minirigs are ok, especially if you pair a few of them.

Not bothered about pairing or setting up loads of guff with cables etc.

I just want a good quality self contained unit.

I've got a couple of Bose, not sure of name of one but the one with me here now (somewhere near Saint Quentin) is the soundlink revolve.

Both are excellent by the way, would definitely recommend.

I took a soundlink Micro to Portugal for round the pool of our Villa and it was more than loud enough.
