Another vote for Nationwide, been with them 40 years. We also use Monzo for overseas holidays, best exchange rates and zero charges, the Monzo app also shows you the price in sterling instantly, so you know exactly what you have been charged at the till.

I’m still a cash man, obviously I use my debit card to get my money. I hate any sort of change, I never deal with it well. If I was to put my bank card in this wallet thing, could I use it to buy something expensive because I think my card has a limit of £100 without putting my PIN number in. Would I still be asked to use my pin on an expensive purchase, or do you just tap your phone against the machine thing and that’s it?
I know this will be obvious to pretty much everyone reading this but I don’t have a clue.
