Based on things like, facilities, comfort, atmosphere, banter with home fans etc

What, in your opinion, is the best [club, so not Wembley] ground you have been to watching Pompey away? ....and the worst?

Manchester Utd, for that real higher echelon feel, Dev.

Plymouth Argyle, circa 15-20 years ago, for that absolute revulsion feel, upon sighting the toilet facilities.

The toilets at London Rd, Peterborough were rather repulsive this season. The ones at Selhurst Park were flooded and I was literally wading around in a large puddle!

Most enjoyable ground this season was Pride Park; only football stadium I've seen that has a Starbucks.

    Best:
-In terms of utter size, old trafford has to be.
-In terms of atmosphere, st james park (or whatever mike ashley wants to call it)
-In terms of how much fun you can have, I'm going to say peterborough, I think the terracing is a novelty there for those of a younger generation such as me.

    Worst:
-In terms of facilities; the lack of roof and the lack of a proper stand, gillingham
    -In terms of atmosphere, blackburn

    Best:
    Size - Old trafford
Atmosphere - West Ham was very good this year
Sheer fun - Millwall in our 1st season back in the Champ was a laff and a half.
Facilities - Reading in the same season pretty good.

    Worst:
Facilites - Bristol City. Supporting pillars blocking the view and 1 portloo for 1500 Pompey. Although the away end being unnalocated made it better.
    Atmosphere - Reading

Looking forward to some of the away days next year. 33% cheaper for rail travel with my 16-25 rail card aswell. As my signiture says...

In terms of atmosphere the best has to be our own Fratton Park on big match evenings like the Milan game or the derby. I quite also liked Anfield although only because it was the evening one cold tuesday night when we took 15,000 fans up there fora league cup match when we were in the 4th division and they had players like Dalgleish playing for them in the then first division, we totally outsung them and our rendition of 'in the Liverpool slums' will stay with me forever!<laugh>

Best ground has to be Man Utd or Arsenal although Man City is not bad either, you can go outside of the executive boxes there with your champagne and prawn sandwich and take in the atmosphere(such as it is). St.James Park isn't bad but not as good as the others.

Worst ever has to be Rochdale. Best hamburger was Huddersfield.<ok>
