    Best - Vinyl from my son. In 1977, my mum got me Rumours by Fleetwood Mac for Christmas. I was a teenage punk rocker at the time, so not that impressed and had to pretend to be grateful (ungrateful little **** I was back then). The record grew on me though.

    42 years later to the day, my son gave me the same album.

    One of those timeless albums that’s aged really well. Not sure I have.

    Best and worst rolled into one : Earplugs

    Had them specially made to fit my ears, so no more deafness and ear infections from swimming & surfing. Probably the winner of the most boring Christmas present ever, but at the same time literally the best thing ever. Like giving somebody a back scratcher for an itch they haven't been able to reach for 10 years.
