    OK we've probably exhausted all the 'best of' threads, apart from this one.

    My top are Bristol Rovers' Cornish pasties (okay not 'pies' really but maybe I should rename this thread 'best half time snacks').

    I've never tried Norwich's fayre, but as Delia's apparently cooked them herself I would assume they are pretty good (as long as she wasn't ****-faced when mixing it up).

    Worst: Craigroyston FC in Edinburgh (they are actually a team, honest). I bought a Scotch Pie from there a few years ago and bit into it, it was green in the middle. I threw it on the floor for my mate's dog (dogs are allowed into Craigroyston, and I'm not just talking about the player's girlfriends either) who gave it one sniff and walked off.

    I seem to remember Carlisle's were good too, and you could get pints in there as well. Which is a bonus.

    I do have some expertise in pies..........lol
    Ermmm, i seem to recall that Runcorn have some very good pies. I'm showing my age now as this was back in our non league days.
    Delias fayre at Norwich were certainly different, but not sure they were that great

    norwich was very overrated, cornish pastys there werent that good if im honest. however worst i ever had by quite some distence was at MKdons old ground, i didnt know it was possible to get a hotdog so wrong!

    in terms of best, whist i dont claim to have a wide experince, exeters mini-pizzas were certainly good and the best burgers i''ve had was at aldershot, who i think must also get credit for thier great food stand name "only foods and sources"!

    The best was kidderminster a few years back (Nathan Tyson scored 2 in a 2-0 win?), they had curry with rice and naans, and it was very very good. Delias pies are pretty good as well.

    I went to Watford a while back now and they did a good burger. It actually looked like the picture with salad, ketchup and a bacon slice in there instead of the just a BSE sandwich. Oxford's old Manor Ground was awful for food.

    I have to say though, in terms of cost of food, took the Mrs to a concert at the new Wembley a few years back. £16 for 2 x fish and chips in a small box. We ate water instead....

    Anyone remember the lamb burger at Adams Park? That was pretty bad.

    if we are talking about prices, even though its not strictly a football ground, the 02 arena must be the biggest rip-off, asking for £9 for a burger and chips.

    also, for the best food, flackwell heaths bacon burgers deserve a mention, as does the bratwursts served at FC schalke, wish we had more in england

    ah Flackwell Heath burgers. I remember munching one of those watching Simon Garner aged 40 odd playing for Flackwell at the time put out a cigarette seconds before coming on as a sub. And he scored. Good times....

    That sounds like Simon. I presume he also asked someone to hold his pint. What a player. First saw him menacing the Wycombe defence when we played WBA in one of the cups. Was over the moon when he joined us. Never gave up.

    @ Ron - Spot on - he was class. A hard working, skillful, tough striker. Dont get many like that anymore. Him and Regis were great signings at the time.

    @Rocky - definately, yes please.
