I know a lot of you love my fascinating threads about away support. The general consensus this season is: best Palace, worst QPR. http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/may/23/premier-league-fans-verdict-arsenal-manchester-city For those of you that actually attend matches, who were the noisiest and quietest/fewest fans this season. Leicester fans are slating QPR's away support (below) and saying Chelsea's is the best :0 on Premier League Banter No Wumming please. Name your best and worst away supporters please
Best away support i saw/heard at the Lane was Sunderland closely followed by Sheffield Utd. Although to be fair, a number of away fans were decent this season City, Liverpool, Palace, Leicester and Forest in particular. QPR, Burnley and Everton were among the quietest fans but the quietest by far was Arsenal. At away grounds, Stoke were very vocal, Liverpool, villa and Hull were also decent. Quietest ground was QPR.
QPR was quite noisy when we visited. But it is their cup final. Suprised they can't get up for Spurs, home and away
for this season i would rate the Boro away fans when they came to Emirates. from my past matches the all time best home fans for noise/atmosphere are Newcastle fans from my past matches the all time best away fans for noise/atmosphere are Celtic
it should have said from this season - i have edited my post - thanks for spotting my mistake, should have gone to specsavers
They laid on a free coach too! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...rvice-fans-everton-fixture-goodison-park.html
Bored tonight? Looks like plenty of Leicester fans have left too in that pic. I don't suppose it's one of your 94th minute specials?
At Swansea: Worst: Newcastle (just screamed abuse at their manager and owner) and Everton (sat there and did **** all) Best: Arsenal Away from Home (of the ones I went to): Best: Man Citeh Worst: Liverpool (sang "You'll never walk alone" and then sat down and ate their prawns for the next 90 minutes.)
