Post 1990 (players I have seen play)

    Tim Flowers

Jason Dodd - Neil Ruddock - Dean Richards - Wayne Bridge

    Jimmy Case

Rodney Wallace - Matthew Le Tissier - Adam Lallana

    James Beattie - Alan Shearer

    Subs
    Kelvin Davies
    Matthew Oakley
    Kevin Davies
    Theo Walcott
    Peter Crouch

Good luck Jimmy defending that midfield!

Yep! I think you have pretty much nailed it!
Maybe a place for Crouchy, given his international scoring record?

    I forgot Theo.

But, don't remember Jason Dodd, Matt Oakley or Rod Wallace ever getting full England caps

My team is based on start of premiership to current day. Some based on ability some based on achievements ie not suggesting lambo is better than shearer but for us he done more.

    Niemi
    Baird. Lundekvam. Svenson. Bridge
    Marsden
    Walcott. Bale
    Le Tissier
    Beattie. Lambert

    Subs
    Flowers
    Richards
    Shearer
    Crouch
    Le saux
    Dodd
    Benali

You've cheated and included foreigners in an England team. Bet a few England managers would have liked to do that!

Not sure how Niemi, Baird, Lundekvam, Svensson or Bale would do in an England side.

Err, it's supposed to be an England XI, you've got 4 foreigners in there!

    My XI:

    Shilton

    Mills - Watson - M Wright - Bridge

    Paine - Ball - Lallana

Le Tiss - Keegan - Channon

I stretched the rules to include U21 honours, although don't think Kelvin Davies acheived that, but I prefer him over Dave Beasant for sub keeper. I picked post 1990 otherwise my team would have looked like yours

Shame Wallace never got full England caps, but that was Graham Taylor for you....ah Just remembered Carlton Palmer

This is the exact team I would choose Chilco....apart from Shearer in for Lallana and drop Matty back in midfield. This would be the team that won the most England caps too, Approx 500 total caps between them (not all playing for Saints).

Yes, I agree with you about Shearer, I just wanted to fit Lallana in somewhere!

Just imagine the mayhem that Ball, Le Tissier, and Keegan could cook up between them...

Lallana can't count; full England only! It's my game, my ball and my jumper!!!

Loving the chap with Niemi, Claus an Killer in the team.... That's where England have gone wrong.

Also a big thank you to whoever mentioned Carlton Palmer.... God bless Graham Taylor!
