Apparently we have re-signed him in replacement of Tatey & Rafik Halliche and Darnel Situ as stated in another thread. Really don't know what to make of bessone if true.

very disapointed at our lack of activity in the transfer market.....too late now and we might regret not getting a few players in.....

It's great to have him back, he did really well for us, but it just didn't click for him at Leeds.
Quote from the man himself on the official site:
He could challenge Neil for the starting place imo. He's better than he thinks.

It could be modesty but I would expect soundbites from him saying he wants to be first teamer etc. Sounds like he is conceding he is a bit part player to Taylor (probably realistic though!)
Anyhow, welcome back home our Argentinian friend.... hope you bust a gut as this is your big chance to play in the BIG SHOW!

Things are moving along just nicely! now if we could just send Jager out on a free transfer, that would be an excellent end to the transfer market, always good to get rid of the deadwood!....................

"Always good to get rid of the deadwood".

Talking of "deadwood",where's jh this morning? He's been putting in early morning shifts here for the last few days. Must be a bit too cold for him sleeping on the beach near The Slip.

"send Jager out on a free transfer".

Cardiff will surely snap up that bargain, now that Bellamy has come to his senses, and "smelt the coffee".

Perhaps we could offer a sweetener,by giving them signed photo's of Tate and Trundle!!! That should swing it,I think.

Let's face it, the signed photo's would probably do a better job and be worth more than the players :cheesy:

If you throw in the golf cart too then I reckon it's a goer ;)

So Bessone back then? Seems an odd one that, did you guys bomb him out initially or did he decide to leave?

Oh, as for Bellamy "smelling the coffee", anyone in their right mind woudl obviously go to Liverpool on a 2 year deal rather than wait to join us on loan again....

No shame in admitting that Liverpool are a bigger club and more attractive than we are, especially for a player who loved both clubs growing up... had Liverpool not been in for him i think he'd be lining up for us again this year as neither QPR nor Stoke would be attaractive for him.

Still, at least we got to see him in a City shirt.. more than your "loyal" fan Hartson did for you lot eh? <whistle>

2 players are for cover and one for the future. Bit disappointed in the lack of activity but we were never going to sign someone that would currently start as it would mean spending too much unless a loan and the two we were linked with (Lansbury and mceachran) one went to west ham and they want to keep mceachran an chelsea. But I can't help but think that if the Meireles deal went through sooner we could have got him on a short term loan at least. Oh well we can still sign free agents. James Beattie anyone??

James Beattie is cack. He had one season where somehow everything he hit went in, but apart from that he's done nothing for me.

Bessone was underrated for us, I think. He is a similar type of player to Taylor, I think, and will do well for us again.

Hope your sitting down Musty, Bellamy was on £95,000.00 a week, so he's probably on around £50,000 now, it's a hard life being a football player!...................

The amounts of money some of these prem players are getting is truly shocking, no one is worth that sort of money not even Messi.

Maybe the tide is turning slightly now that all football clubs will soon have to be shown to be financially viable and able to live within their means. Arteta took a £10,000 a week pay cut last night just so he could go to Arsenal as his wages at Everton (a struggling club financially) was were too high for the buying club. This has been our problem recently trying to sign players without breaking our wage structure. Read that a Sparta Rotterdam player was on his way to us this week but changed his mind when his wage demand was refused.
