I wonder if the new strip will make an appearance and have the same affect.......

Your post has reminded me of an earlier Strip Change that seemed to upset a lot of 'traditionalists at the time..

While Alan Brown Manager he was credited, (blamed) for the change to White shorts in 1961.
But they stayed that way, till Bob Stokoe, arrived in 1972.
Bob recieved the credit when the black shorts came back despite it being Mid Season.
And Black they have stayed for the Home Strip, except for the couple of years when we had the red Le Coq you mentioned.

Loved the white shorts - still do

Just mentioned that to my son. Be a decent day out. First team away to the states so be the U21 and U18 players.
I can see us taking a few U21’s to USA for the experience. I’d expect mostly an U18 side to feature in this game.

Where is the best place to park mate? Heading down in about an hour via Edinburgh
Loads of free parking at the ground Jarca, at least that was the case a few years ago.

Just checked on the Football Ground Guide:
Directions and Car Parking
From The North
From the A1 around Berwick and continue crossing the River Tweed. Then take the left turn towards Spittal (B6354). After about one mile, you will reach the entrance to the ground on your left.

From The South
From the A1, take the right turn towards Spittal (B6354). After about one mile, you will reach the entrance to the ground on your left.

Car Parking
There is plenty of free car parking available at the ground.
