RIP great player and smashing bloke by all accounts loved the early whitesnake stuff.
Was converted to Whitesnake by a girlfriend not long after they formed.
My enthusiasm for them outlasted that for her by about 45 years!

seen many times, whitesnake and rush were my top two bands...the rest were all joint 2nd faves and this guy is one of the stand out names of the times imho.
Just saw this when coming on to update you all about our plight.
Saw him many times with Whitesnake. Although they made more money with the later eighties style, Whitesnake were never the same after Bernie and Micky Moody left. Love David Coverdale, but he definitely went for image over quality when letting Bernie go.
